There's a bunch of you wondering where the Wanted 4 Gaming podcast went. Well we haven't gone anywhere. Just planning things to do with the podcast before the summer hits. I'm getting a summer job. Kelsey is currently in the hospital with Swine Flu and at the moment I don't know AJ's standpoint in all this. I also realized that we should currently be on schedule with W4G Ep 6, but we aren't and we've promised things that sometimes we can't hold up to. I'm currently in the works on finding a skilled replacement in my area to take Kelsey's spot temporarily. Good thing for him is if he makes it out ok then his body should be making immunity for the virus, so that it wont happen again. Bad thing is that due to the severity of the Swine Flu situation that he won't be returning anytime soon, leaving AJ and I to float in a boat all by ourselves.
Meanwhile, with my new job, I'll be able to purchase needed tools to improve our podcast with. First of all I'm planning on purchasing the Pinnacle Dazzle J82390 Video Creator Platinum ($65.47) as soon as my first paycheck comes in. This baby will allow me to record and do live podcast gaming sessions on justin.tv which I will attempt to do a 2-3 hour session every day in the evenings until school gets back in. The system I will be doing the broadcasts on are Xbox 360, AJ will do PC and I possibly will do PS3 if I decide to buy one. AJ may also join me on Saturday evenings for a live broadcast if he has time. Hopefully this will give us a chance to get to know our listeners on a better level. We will most likely be not implementing this until the end of June. It all depends on the flow. Also, highlights from our live broadcasts will be put on YouTube for you and all your friends to see.
I will also buy a full version of PaintShop Pro 8. Letting me make banners and other cool stuff for different parts of the podcast. I also will try to be on point with recent games that I try to play on JTV. I don't want this to get stale so every now and then I will have on a brand new game as soon as it's released. We also have a comic in the post-phase production by Kelsey himself, but we don't know if that's ever gonna come to the light since he's out of commission right now. AJ and I are doing the best we can to get back on track but we want to make this a pleasant listening experience and Kelsey is a one of a kind guy to help us do that, so its a little hard to have someone fill his spot, but I believe the guy I have in mind will do just nicely.
Last but not least, we have a new alliance with my good friends at Master Studios. MS is a up-and-coming machinima production team led by Jaggeta that does some good Halo 3 machinima. Click the link above to see some of their works.
While trying to put the last of a hopeful dream together, I am working on a discussion forum for you, the listeners. AJ and I will really try to have episodes 5 and 6 of the podcast up along with the prank calls special that Kelsey never was able to finish (Ive taken this project over myself). I realize I have a lot to do before we do our E3 '09 special on June 5th/6th. Hopefully everything comes along just fine with the podcast, Kelsey's condition, and our new member shortly. Until then this is Gary signing off.
